BGCH Sports Leagues 2025/2026

At Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii, sports aren’t just games, they’re opportunities to build confidence, character, and lifelong skills. For nearly 50 years, BGCH has been dedicated to giving Hawaii’s keiki a safe place to grow, learn, and belong. Now, as we gear up for our milestone 50th Anniversary in 2026, we are thrilled to reintroduce sports leagues as a key part of the Club experience.

What Families Can Expect

BGCH Sports Leagues will bring together youth from across Oahu and Kauai for a season of teamwork, growth, and fun:

  • Weekly practices that help players sharpen their skills and build confidence.
  • Weekend games that include both home and away matchups with other BGCH Clubhouses.
  • A season finale All-Club Tournament, where teams come together to celebrate, compete, and showcase their growth.
  • To participate in our sports leagues, it’s free for all Club members! Not a member? Simply fill out a membership application for your child and pay the $25 annual fee. This gives your child access not only to our sports leagues, but also to all programs that our Clubhouses have to offer.

Each team is guided by dedicated volunteer coaches, supported by training from our BGCH Athletic Director to ensure that every child has a positive, enriching experience both on and off the field.

Why It Matters

Through athletics, youth learn teamwork, resilience, discipline, and leadership. These are lessons that carry far beyond the playing field, helping them succeed in school and in life.

Looking Ahead

As 2025 comes to a close, we are reminded of how much has been made possible because of our community. Together, we’ve kept membership fees low ($25 per year for youth, $10 for teens) and ensured that every child, regardless of circumstance, has the chance to play, grow, and thrive.

And with our 50th Anniversary just around the corner, we’re more committed than ever to creating experiences that bring joy, opportunity, and great futures to Hawaii’s youth.
