Did you know that Teach Appreciation Day is in May? It is a special occasion to celebrate teachers and mentors around the country.

Austin, a Club member since he was seven years old, surprised his Club mentor and long-time BGCH employee, Jasmine “Jaz” Baker, by dedicating Teacher’s Day to her. He shared that he wanted to create a thank you video, to let others know how incredibly grateful he is to the Nanakuli Clubhouse and his favorite teacher and mentor: Jaz. 

We are not sure if you know this, but many of our clubhouses have waiting lists to access our services due to a lack of funding. We worry about the youth who don’t have a safe place to go after school, and that is why donations like yours make such a difference.
